Explorer+ is a web-based map-centric viewer app that allows users to view, access and use data through intuitive, user-friendly map interfaces. By consolidating and mapping GeoSpatial data from various sources, systems and formats into a centralized database facilitates data sharing, improves data access, and provides easy interaction with the data under a single access point.
Explorer+ GeoPlatform Components
Explorer+ provides a highly configurable system for instant mapping of GeoSpatial data with two core GeoPlatform components: a Map Viewer and an Administrator Module. Explorer+ comes with a basic data model that addresses the industry’s needs.
The Map Viewer solution delivers extraordinary mapping capabilities with navigation tools, redlining, querying and information display that’s customized based on the user’s need. The Administrator Module establishes the levels of access and control for each user as well as the system’s setup and database defaults.
Map Display shows customizable map layers based on data with options to load new information and toggle through different layers.
Navigation Tools
Navigation Tools provide users the necessary tools for easily zooming in or out, panning the map and changing its scale or type.
Measurement
Measurement easily measures elements within the map with different units and label options including coordinates of points, linear length and polygon areas.
Identification
Identification assists in locating specific areas or points on the map and displaying their characteristics based on set parameters.
Redlining
Redlining enables the user to make freehand Geo-Referenced graphical edits and annotate with different types of text, shapes and colors with the ability to easily export and import graphics into the Geo-Database.
Search
Explorer+ offers a wide range of search options with the ability to broaden or limit searches to specific data fields and ranges within a targeted map layer.
Bookmarks
Bookmarks saves a particular geographic location for future use and reference with the ability to retrieve saved locations.
Table of Contents & Legend
Displays a dynamic table of contents with the legend that lists all the layers on the map, and shows what the features in each layer represent. The user can toggle the visibility of the layers in the list.
Print & Save
Explorer+ offers various options for users to print their maps in different formats, adjust the resolution, add a map legend, save their maps and share them with others online.
Implementation of a web portal (Geoportal) which includes tools and services that display the geospatial data container inside the SAR Enterprise Geodatabase.
Development of man-power and human resources required to operate the system by SAR, through a series of courses, conferences and events during the course of the project.

Saudi Commission for Tourism & National Heritage (SCTH)
Client Requirement
SCTH needed a suite of applications to assist professionals in their daily work and provide them with detailed information about individual heritage sites.
Our Solution
Applications were developed based on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) that help in spatial analysis and storage of detailed data on heritage sites.
All sites are connected spatially through their geographical coordinates.
Ministry of Housing, KSA
Client Requirement
The project entails the implementation of InterAct Public Safety Systems (Dispatch, GIS, AVL) to provide public safety dispatchers and managers with tools for timely tracking and dispatching of ambulance units in response to field incidents and emergency calls.
Our Solution
The solution uses Explorer+ to show incident locations on a dynamic map display, while monitoring the positions of emergency vehicles, dispatching the closest available units to the incident locations, and providing advanced supervisor functionality.
The solution includes the setup of 3 control centers with 102 vehicles.
GEO Amlak, Ministry of Finance, Saudi Arabia
Client Requirement
The challenges are to identify the attributes (location, area…) of the real-estate owned by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to integrate the system with SAP systems in the MOF, and to define a roadmap in order to manage the deeds in the MOF, and insure following the best quality steps in the field surveying in MOF.
Our Solution
The Explorer+ application was used to develop two applications:
GEO Amlak used to display the properties and all its information to the end users.
Survey Management Application (SMA) used to send the tasks for the fields’ contractors automatically, manage and monitor their work to guarantee the quality of the geographic information provided by the field surveyors.
These systems have been fully integrated with SAP system in MOF.
Riyadh Development, KSA (RD)
Client Requirement
The project aims to verify and update the Wadi Hanifah base map; update and populate the digital base map of Wadi Hannah down to the parcel level; update and populate all environmental data; and enhance and upgrade the current system functionalities, while adding new ones through the development of new web, desktop and mobile applications.

Client Requirement
The aim was to review and enhance Kuwait Municipality’s GIS System, ensuring it is in line with international best practice.
Our Solution
We are establishing a comprehensive municipal enterprise GIS that will provide: a common platform for data collection and storage; authorized and secure access to spatial data; and harmonized workflows and training for multiple departments.

Client Requirement
The aim of the project is to develop a complete workflow system to replace the Oracle forms that were developed and not used by MoT.
Our Solution
The solution is configured on the top of Joget workflow solution and Oracle database.
The workflows aim to automate the land allocation, registration and approval process for the parcels that are owned by MoT or owned by investors who like to build a tourism facility on their lands.
The project is user-friendly, with light web and mobile versions.
